Join the Mahaska Team as our IT Coordinator.

We are seeking a skilled IT Coordinator to join our team and take responsibility for maintaining our information technology systems and networks. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the functionality and efficiency of our computer and telecom systems, with a specific focus on optimizing the use of SaaS applications across our business units.
As an IT Coordinator, you must have extensive knowledge of software, hardware, and SaaS applications. You will be responsible for performing both technical and administrative tasks, requiring critical thinking and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail. Effective end-user support and teamwork are vital components of this role, so excellent communication and people skills are required to collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Institute protocols for the use of IT across departments and projects.
  • Provide advice on the most suitable IT choices, particularly in relation to SaaS applications.
  • Provide technical support or training for systems and networks.
  • Act as a link between end users and higher-level support.
  • Install, configure and maintain software and hardware.
  • Monitor system and network performance.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to maintain standards and functionality.
  • Manage and implement IT solutions for various business units.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures for business processes involving SaaS applications managed by IT.
  • Self-train on specific SaaS applications, identifying how they can be used independently and collaboratively across different business units.
  • Promote and gain buy-in from business units and management for SaaS application adoption and optimization.
  • Plan, deploy, monitor, and continuously improve the use of SaaS applications, resolving any issues and ensuring maximum utilization.
Requirements and Skills:
  • Proven experience as an IT Coordinator or in a similar role.
  • Experience in managing and supporting SaaS applications.
  • Solid knowledge of IT systems and applications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination abilities.
  • Demonstrable, real world, IT experience of at least 4 years.
  • Relevant IT Certifications are a plus.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to self-train on new software applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically about how to integrate and optimize SaaS applications within various business units.
