Job Summary: As Assistant Warehouse Manager, you are responsible to the company management for proper accounting and organization of any situations about warehouse control. you are personally responsible to the management of this company to maintain your area economically without waste of time., materials, or manpower. 

Essential Job Functions:
 
  • Responsible for checking trucks in daily.
  • Communicate directly with the Warehouse Manager
  • Responsible for checking returned merchandise, both full and empty, on any company vehicles and recording same on proper forms.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate records required and that the proper forms are filled out and returned to appropriate offices. 
  • Daily work hours and habits remain flexible and to be controlled by Warehouse Manager
  • Responsible to notify Warehouse Manager of any problems or suggestions you feel can improve the efficiency of your job as well as any other jobs related to warehouse operations. 
  • Responsible for retrieving all express orders and assigning them to be built by loaders.Retrieve and assign for building all conventional route truck orders. Retrieve and assign to loaders orders for Snack Express and then sell said order to Snack Express using the assigned handheld. 
  • Responsible to report to Warehouse Manager any problems you may have with route sales personnel. 
  • Responsible for all warehouse security systems while on duty.
  • Responsible to see that gate security is maintained at scheduled closing times. 
  • Responsible for shutting off all necessary lights while on duty. 
  • Responsible to see that individuals leave the plant immediately after clocking out. 
  • Responsible to turn in breakage and repack product daily.
  • Responsible to call in Fleet Maintenance when there are mechanical problems with trucks. Also communicate with Fleet Director any problems you may see with Equipment. 
  • Review load crew efficiencies with Warehouse Manager.
  • Responsible to keep warehouse clean and orderly as prescribed procedures.  
  • Responsible for checking load crew employee time cards to ensure accuracy and communicating with Warehouse Manager regarding hours worked by Load Crew.
  • Must have reliable and regular attendance. 


Requirements:

  • Basic math skills.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
